Quality Policy
We, at GD Tech, are committed to creating champions of our products and providing never-ending services of outstanding values to all our customers, to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Quality Control & CMM Inspection
At GD Group, the parts we produce are typically complex components that require a high degree of precision and are used in critical aerospace or medical applications. These parts not only require in-depth inspections and analysis, but present unique inspection challenges. To overcome these challenges, we employ a myriad of product validation methods that allow us to check everything from linear tolerances to complex Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T). We utilize statistical process control (SPC) to ensure our processes yield products that meet or exceed customer requirements. Our in-process inspection rates are established to adhere to our customers Acceptable Quality Level (AQL).
Among our inspection tools such of as visual measuring system, spectral analysis, optical profile projector, inverted microscope, and a full complement of manual contact gauges, GD Group uses modern Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines with Calypso programming software in a climate controlled lab. These tools can be used to measure complex geometric shapes to verify conformance with all customer specifications. Many pieces of our dimensional inspection equipment are able to record and report data electronically, making these tools invaluable for first article and in-process inspection procedures, process capability / stability. Customers's 3D CAD models files can be directly imported in the coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for a direct comparison to the dimensions that are taken from the physical part.
As an innovative world class manufacturing company, we are adept at developing custom machining and inspection procedures that allow us to produce parts with a high degree of complexity and precision that is unmatched by our machining industry peers. Our customers' appreciation for the level of quality, service, and reliability that GD Group provides, is confirmed by the long term partnerships we have maintained.

Lean & Continuous Improvement
GD Group's success over the past decade has been attributable to our ongoing focus and effort to improve and reinvest in our operational performance. The organization specifically focuses on Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities in the disciplines of machine technology, machine productivity, process flow/linkage, and adaptability in order to meet a broad range of customer demands.
Industry expectations have changed significantly over recent years, forcing businesses to operate differently than they had previously. GD Group recognizes the solution, to achieving success in today's environment, is to create a responsive, adaptable organization that meets the industry's constantly fluctuating demands and increased complexities.
GD Group believes the future aerospace, medical, semiconductor and automotive industry supply chains will require a sustained and extraordinary commitment compared to that of past decades. As a result, this will force many suppliers to either exit these market segments or renew/increase their investment to remain competitive. GD Group continues to move forward in collaboration and partnership with its customers to identify areas of mutual opportunity to make such future commitments.
